For more than a day, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers provided assistance at the site of the strike on a residential building in Lutsk
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Volyn region took part in the response to the attack. Yesterday, they helped to free a victim trapped under the rubble. A Ukrainian Red Cross aid station was set up at the scene, offering psychological support and first aid to those affected and emergency workers. The station also provided facilities to charge mobile phones and served tea and water.
Volunteers distributed tarpaulins to residents whose homes were damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 30 people were injured and two were killed in the Russian attack on Lutsk. Five people and several pets were evacuated from a damaged building. Both residential and administrative buildings suffered heavy damage.
Emergency and rescue operations have now been completed.
