The Ukrainian Red Cross expresses its deepest condolences on the loss of three rescue workers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who lost their lives on 6 June while responding to the aftermath of another Russian attack on Kyiv.

They were killed while saving others under fire — fulfilling their duty to the very end. This is a profound loss for the entire civil defence service and for all of Ukraine.

We wish all injured first responders a swift and full recovery.
