Monitoring Service Quality: Visit to Beneficiaries of the Home-Based Care Programme in the Odesa Region

The head of the Podil district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with the programme manager and social helpers, visited beneficiaries under our care — mostly elderly people living alone in remote villages.

The Ukrainian Red Cross places great emphasis on the quality of the services we provide. During the visit, we assessed the social and hygiene support delivered daily by our social helpers and gathered direct feedback from the beneficiaries.

Many expressed satisfaction not only with the practical assistance but also with the kindness, care, and dedication shown by the social helpers.

Regular visits like these allow us to evaluate how the system functions on the ground, identify emerging needs, and promptly improve our support methods. Our social helpers consistently follow established standards, maintain regular contact with beneficiaries, and provide reliable assistance.

We work systematically to ensure everyone in need feels cared for and supported. Ongoing monitoring and openness to feedback are vital to delivering high-quality and effective aid.
