Cherkasy hosted a selection committee meeting for micro-grant winners under the Ukrainian Red Cross Reboot programme

A meeting of the selection committee for the Ukrainian Red Cross Reboot programme took place in Cherkasy to determine the recipients of micro-grant support. The committee included representatives from the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Cherkasy Regional Employment Centre, the Central Hub of an international company, and specialists from the Reboot programme. During the meeting, 35 business plans were reviewed, of which 30 were selected to receive funding of up to UAH 100,000 to support the development of their own businesses. Winners were chosen based on several pre-established criteria, which had been communicated to all participants in advance. The results of the selection process will be announced shortly and shared with all applicants.

The Reboot programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Spanish Red Cross. It aims to help internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups find employment or start their own businesses in their current place of residence.

Applicants for the micro-grants go through a comprehensive process — from preparing an effective business plan to launching their enterprise. With the support of partners, local authorities, and potential employers, the programme enables participants to take significant steps towards becoming self-sufficient entrepreneurs.
