The Ukrainian Red Cross has donated an emergency warning system to a territorial community in the Khmelnytskyi region

Residents of eight villages in the Makiv territorial community, Kamianets-Podilskyi district, will now receive emergency alerts via street loudspeakers. Thanks to the cooperation between the Ukrainian Red Cross, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region, supported financially by the Danish Red Cross, a local automated centralised warning system has been purchased and delivered to the community.

The system includes alarm and loudspeaker devices, main and backup control units, and uninterruptible power supplies. It enables the timely delivery of alarms, voice messages, and other critical information to local residents.

This initiative represents an important step forward in strengthening community safety and improving preparedness for emergencies across Ukraine.
