Mobile rehabilitation units have already made over 100 visits to the Chernihiv region since beginning operations
The mobile rehabilitation unit of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross began its work three months ago. Between February and April 2025, the team operated in the Snovsk community of the Koriukivka district, a border area.
In total, the specialists conducted 105 home visits to provide physical therapy services. At the same time, family members were given guidance on how to properly care for their relatives.
Over the three-month period, 113 assistive rehabilitation devices, including wheelchairs with anti-decubitus cushions, walkers, adjustable canes, and bathroom aids, were distributed.
The physical and mental rehabilitation programme in the Chernihiv region is supported by the British Red Cross.
We remain committed to improving the quality of rehabilitation services in local communities!
