Kharkiv: Yesterday and today, the Ukrainian Red Cross team has been responding to the aftermath of attacks on the city

Five crews of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region, in coordination with other rescue services, conducted field assessments and door-to-door visits in affected areas. Volunteers provided first aid to the injured and offered psychological first aid to those affected. Individuals with more serious injuries were handed over to medical professionals for further transport to hospitals, while volunteers themselves transported several patients to medical facilities to ease pressure on ambulance services.

Victims are currently receiving humanitarian assistance coordinated by the regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, based on immediate needs. Support includes OSB boards, tarpaulins, and plastic sheeting to temporarily cover damage, such as broken windows, as well as hygiene kits, drinking water, and other essential supplies.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, nearly 50 people were injured yesterday evening as a result of 17 strikes by the Russian Federation across four districts of Kharkiv. Among the injured are children. The attacks caused damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and surrounding areas.
