Ukrainian Red Cross Photos Showcased at EXPO 2025 in Japan

The Power of Humanity — the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Pavilion — has been opened at the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka. Among the exhibits that stand out for their emotional depth and sincerity are photographs documenting the Ukrainian Red Cross’s response to the missile attack on Kyiv.

Captured by renowned Ukrainian photographers Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov, these images convey the strength, resilience, and humanity of Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers who support people in the most challenging circumstances every day. Their presence on the international stage highlights the significant contribution of Ukrainian volunteers to global humanitarian efforts.

The Pavilion was created as a space to share real stories of those who help others. In the immersive dome theatre, visitors can experience these stories through the eyes of people who face humanitarian challenges every day in different parts of the world.

The Ukrainian Red Cross is proud that its experience, dedication, and humanity have become an integral part of this international story of compassion, solidarity, and hope.
