In Zaporizhzhia and the region, shelters in five educational facilities have been repaired
These works were part of the Winterisation 24/25 project, implemented in partnership with the Danish Red Cross.
The aim is to provide a safe environment for children, parents, and teachers in the face of ongoing danger.
The current repairs to the shelters will help:
- Resume full-time education
- Ensure the protection of children and staff during emergencies
- Support communities during difficult times
This is part of the comprehensive humanitarian response of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Zaporizhzhia.
We are working to ensure that every child can learn in safety.
