Forum “The Role of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Implementation of Community-Based Rehabilitation” Held in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region

On 10 April, a one-day forum was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk region to discuss the implementation of community-based rehabilitation (CBR) as part of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s mental and physical rehabilitation efforts.

The event brought together staff from regional branches, the National Committee, and international partners. Participants discussed the concept of CBR, international practices, as well as the challenges and opportunities for developing rehabilitation services in Ukraine.

In addition, successful cases of collaboration with local communities, stories of individuals who received support, and future plans to strengthen partnerships and expand community rehabilitation activities within the Ukrainian Red Cross were shared.
