Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers responded to the sites of drone strikes in Kharkiv

Together with other city services, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region were on the ground at the sites of the attacks. They inspected the damaged buildings and surrounding areas to identify those affected and provide them with the necessary assistance. In particular, the volunteers offered psychological first aid to the victims and their families.

Today, the Ukrainian Red Cross plans to distribute humanitarian aid at the impact sites, based on the needs collected.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the attack caused a fire at two private enterprises, covering a total area of 1,870 square metres. Nearby private residential buildings were also damaged. Eight people, including three children, suffered an acute stress reaction.
