Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers helped extinguish a large-scale fire in the Kyiv region

Yesterday, during training exercises, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kyiv region discovered a fire near the village of Novosilky in the Vyshgorod district. Upon arriving at the scene, the volunteers conducted aerial reconnaissance to identify the most dangerous areas of the fire’s spread and took immediate action to contain it before the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived.

Thanks to the coordinated and professional efforts of the volunteers, alongside firefighters from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the fire was successfully extinguished.
