In Odesa, the Ukrainian Red Cross held an information session on tuberculosis prevention for high school students
Ahead of World Tuberculosis Day, Ukrainian Red Cross health consultants conducted an information session for 10th-grade students at the Nadiia Lyceum in Odesa. The session was attended by 52 high school students, who learned about tuberculosis, its transmission, main symptoms, and prevention methods. The experts also provided guidance on how to protect themselves and when to seek medical advice.
In a school environment, where students interact with a large number of people, knowledge about disease prevention is especially important. The event sparked considerable interest among the students – they were engaged, asked insightful questions, and highlighted the relevance of the information shared.
Similar sessions are also being held in the Odesa region with the support of the German Red Cross.
