Ukrainian Red Cross staff and volunteers donate blood to save the injured

The Ukrainian Red Cross has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Blood Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to support those in need of blood donations. Today, our team made its contribution: employees and volunteers of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross participated in the blood drive.

Nearly 50 people donated blood to help save the lives of the injured. We believe that donation is not only an act of kindness but also an important step toward solidarity and mutual support. The event was organised jointly by the emergency response teams, staff from the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Unit, and the Blood Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to support initiatives aimed at promoting the donation of blood and its components. Indeed, one donation can save three lives.
