The leadership of the Ukrainian Red Cross met with a delegation from the Swedish Red Cross

During the meeting, Mykola Polishchuk, President of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and Ulrika Modéer, Secretary General of the Swedish Red Cross, discussed the next steps for cooperation and priority areas of activity aimed at assisting Ukrainians affected by the war, particularly in the Sumy and Odesa regions.

“I would like to thank our steadfast and reliable partners for the assistance they have been providing us since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, for their ongoing support, and for their solidarity with the people of Ukraine,” said Mykola Polishchuk.

Ulrika Modéer emphasised that the Swedish Red Cross will continue to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian Red Cross for as long as it is needed.

Cooperation between the organisations will help alleviate the humanitarian challenges faced by the Ukrainian population on a daily basis.
