In the Chernivtsi region, Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units care for the health of the local population

The team regularly visits communities with limited access to medical facilities and a high number of internally displaced people. Our specialists conduct health examinations, measure blood pressure and blood glucose levels, refer individuals to specialised medical professionals when necessary, and provide over-the-counter medicines for general therapeutic purposes free of charge.

The aim of the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units is to provide ongoing support to those living in remote areas of the region who are unable to reach a pharmacy or hospital on their own. We support everyone, from children to the elderly, doing our best to maintain the health of people facing difficult life circumstances.
