A Ukrainian Red Cross Computer Literacy Club is operating in Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk region
In today’s world, where more social services, utility bills, and documentation are being digitally transformed, it is crucial to equip vulnerable groups with basic computer literacy skills. These skills are particularly important for older adults, who may struggle to learn how to use computers on their own.
The Computer Literacy Club was established as part of the BraVo programme and is currently operating with support from the Swiss Red Cross. The club is based at the Nadvirna District branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and focuses on training individuals over the age of 50. Participants can learn digital skills and new technologies, including how to use a computer, email, web browsers, and various applications, as well as understanding internet safety. All of these skills are offered free of charge, helping individuals improve their everyday lives.
