In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Ukrainian Red Cross has launched an Active Longevity Club and a sewing workshop

The “People and Wings of Support” Active Longevity Club and a sewing workshop for internally displaced persons were officially opened in the village of Sadzhava. The Active Longevity Club serves as a space for development, support, and new opportunities for older adults. Both internally displaced persons and local residents are welcome to become members. Here, they will have the opportunity to find new purpose, acquire new knowledge, and feel valued. The sewing workshop will help participants learn a practical new skill, boost their confidence in their new environment, and contribute to the development of the community.

The event was supported by the BraVo programme (Branch and Volunteer Development of the Ukrainian Red Cross) and local authorities. The programme itself is implemented with assistance from the Swiss Red Cross and international partners. Together, we are working to build a better future for the people of Ukraine, providing everyone with the chance to grow and live with dignity.
