The Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance to those affected in Mykolaiv after another nighttime attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Mykolaiv region was quickly dispatched to the scene to help mitigate the aftermath of the attack. The volunteers, together with first responders, conducted door-to-door visits to provide immediate first aid to the victims.
The team from the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the attack on the city and delivered the necessary humanitarian aid to the victims. An aid station was set up at the site, where residents of damaged buildings and other citizens could receive support and hot drinks.
The volunteers were able to provide residents of the houses damaged by the attack with:
- 255 food parcels;
- 200 warm blankets;
- 150 square metres of plastic sheeting;
- 10 packs of tarpaulin.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a man was injured in the attack. Residential buildings and an infrastructure facility were also damaged.
