3,000 shelter signs have been handed over by the Ukrainian Red Cross

The Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Norwegian Red Cross, has purchased and delivered 3,000 shelter signs for civil protection facilities. This was done as part of the implementation of paragraph 8 of the Plan for Key Civil Protection Measures of Ukraine for 2025, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 24 December 2024, No. 1313-p.

The Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and Kherson regions were the first to receive the signs.

Clear labelling of shelters is crucial for public safety. Visible signs on buildings help people find safe places more quickly during an air raid, which can save lives.

The signs meet the required standards and will soon be displayed on the shelters.

The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to support communities by providing the necessary means to protect civilians.
