During the week, mobile health units of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance to 760 residents of the Sumy region

The team operates in the region bordering the contact line, which significantly impacts daily life, especially for residents of small villages. We are doing our best to support people in remote areas where there is no access to healthcare services or medicines.

Six mobile health units made 38 visits, during which they:

• provided consultations and conducted examinations,
• measured blood pressure and blood glucose levels,
• referred patients to specialist doctors if necessary,
• distributed over-the-counter medicines for general health use.

The activities in the Sumy region are carried out with the support of the Swedish Red Cross.
