Citizens’ safety is our top priority: two additional mobile shelters have been installed in the Kherson region, thanks to the Ukrainian Red Cross
These shelters were set up in the Dariivka community, where villages are constantly under attack from Russia.
With the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross, around fifty such shelters have been installed across the region and in Kherson. They are strategically placed near hospitals, markets, railway stations, educational facilities, humanitarian aid distribution points, public transport stops, parks, and other crowded areas.
Each 10 m² shelter is equipped with seating and can accommodate between 10 and 15 people. The shelters provide protection from blast waves and shrapnel injuries.
We stand by those in need and continue working to improve the safety of the population in frontline regions.
