The Ukrainian Red Cross has donated reflective badges to the Cherkasy region for children’s safety

To help make children more visible on the roads, even in low light or bad weather, the Ukrainian Red Cross has donated reflective badges to the Educational Safety Service of the Cherkasy District Police Department. These small, reflective badges allow drivers to spot children from up to 400 metres away – several times further than without them.

The police distributed the badges to children in the community, raising awareness of road safety and the importance of visibility.

Police representatives expressed their gratitude for the support:

“Your help is a significant contribution to children’s safety and their understanding of traffic rules. We appreciate your concern and active support, which help ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens.”
