In January, Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units provided assistance to 435 residents of the Zviahel district, Zhytomyr region
A total of 435 people were consulted or examined, including 55 individuals with disabilities. Four home visits were also made, and 263 people received free over-the-counter medicines. The teams visited 19 villages in the Zviahel district, including remote areas.
During regular visits by Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units, residents can receive primary health check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, referrals to specialists, or essential over-the-counter medicines. In areas with limited access to medical facilities and pharmacies, such assistance is crucial.
