The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Mykolaiv region worked at the site of a missile attack

Volunteers, together with other emergency services, arrived promptly at the scene, where they searched the area to identify victims. In collaboration with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, they worked to recover bodies from the rubble and carried out rescue operations. They also provided water to emergency workers and remained on standby to offer first aid if needed. Additionally, the volunteers transported the bodies of two fatalities.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, two women died as a result of a missile strike on one of the city’s food processing plants. The administrative building of the enterprise was damaged, and the workshop building was partially destroyed.

Eight volunteers and three vehicles were involved in the response.
