In Kherson, over 1,000 food parcels were distributed in one day
The humanitarian aid, in the form of food parcels weighing over 13 kg, is provided by the World Food Programme (WFP). Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers continue to work in the city despite the constant danger and ongoing shelling.
On Wednesday, more than 1,000 residents of Kherson received essential food supplies, including cereals, flour, pasta, canned meat, oil, salt, and sugar. This support is especially crucial for older adults aged 60 and over, as well as people with disabilities, who find it difficult to purchase food in supermarkets on their own. Additionally, every time they leave the house to go shopping or go about their daily tasks, it is dangerous, as the city is constantly shelled by Russian troops.
We stand by those in need!
