In Kropyvnytskyi, the Ukrainian Red Cross held an information session for residents of the YaMariupol Centre as part of the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme

For the third consecutive year, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with its reliable partner, the YaMariupol Centre, has been providing employment opportunities for people who were forced to leave their homes in Mariupol. Thanks to this collaboration, last year, three participants received microgrants to develop their beauty businesses. Courses were also held for drivers and administrators.

It is worth noting that the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme is being implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the Spanish Red Cross. The programme offers an opportunity to learn a new profession or retrain, as well as receive a microgrant to start or revitalise a business. Training is provided in the following areas: forklift driver, machinist, electrician, hairdresser, nail technician, tailor, office manager (administrative assistant), social media manager (SMM), graphic designer, web designer, software developer, and pastry chef. In addition to employment preparation support, participants can consult a psychologist to improve their emotional well-being and boost their confidence.
