On the night of 23 January, Russia launched another massive attack on Zaporizhzhia

The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Zaporizhzhia region, together with other city services, was on the ground responding to the attack. Six volunteer crews were involved in the response. Volunteers provided first aid to three victims on the spot, treated five others and handed them over to paramedics. One more victim was transported to hospital. Over 20 people received psychological first aid.

A team from the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is currently at the site, providing humanitarian aid to those affected.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the attack resulted in one fatality and 25 injuries, including a two-month-old baby and four emergency workers.
