Mykolaiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross responds to the site of a drone attack

The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Mykolaiv region swiftly arrived at the scene of the drone attack last night. Several teams were deployed to different locations affected by the attacks. The volunteers provided first aid to the injured and psychological first aid to the victims and their families. At one location, volunteers set up an aid station where both affected individuals and emergency service personnel could receive assistance and warm drinks, such as tea and coffee.

The team from the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has also set up two support stations for those affected. Volunteers are distributing blankets, hygiene kits, and food to people whose homes were damaged in the attack. The work is ongoing.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, six fires broke out last night due to falling debris in various locations across the city. The attic of an apartment building was partially destroyed, and a fire spanning 100 square metres was extinguished. A six-storey building, an outpatient clinic, private homes, and administrative buildings were also damaged. Two people were injured.
