The online service of the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme, implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross, has been launched

The primary aim of the service is to support vulnerable groups in finding employment, accessing vocational training, and pursuing self-employment across Ukraine through an online platform.

The team actively researches current challenges in the labour market and establishes connections with employers, government agencies, NGOs, and educational institutions. This enables us to introduce innovative approaches to overcoming employment barriers and promoting the socio-economic integration of individuals in need of support.

So far, two online meetings have been held. The meeting with representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine provided a platform for discussing the Federation’s areas of work and ongoing projects aimed at protecting workers’ rights and increasing the competitiveness of vulnerable groups in the labour market. Plans were also made for joint information campaigns and training events. A separate topic discussed was the legal protection of employees and compliance with labour laws.

A meeting was also held with Anna Liubyma, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The participants discussed conflict sensitivity in employment support, reviewed business support programmes, and explored ways to engage regional branches in disseminating information about participation in the programme.

The online service is evolving. We plan to expand the range of partners and introduce new tools to support individuals in employment, professional adaptation, and entrepreneurship development. Regardless of their circumstances, everyone has the right to access opportunities for development and realising their potential.
