In Ternopil, the Ukrainian Red Cross launched and supported the establishment of the ‘Happy Together’ Active Longevity Club

The Active Longevity Club was created to support older people. It will host regular meetings, cultural events, classes focused on physical and mental well-being, various workshops, and other programmes designed to help participants make friends and receive support.

It’s like a new life begins here. It makes me want to live!” — shared one of the participants of the Active Longevity Club.

The Club was established at the initiative of the Ternopil city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the Ternopil City Territorial Centre for Social Services, where the Club will be based. The initiative was made possible through the BraVo (Branch and Volunteer Development) programme of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

This is another significant step in expanding educational opportunities for the older generation. Here, everyone can discover new hobbies and meet interesting people. We are committed to making Ukrainian cities more comfortable and welcoming for older people.
