Video: A New Hub of Support for Mariupol Residents
The new hub in Dnipro was opened by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Luxembourg Red Cross on the grounds of a social housing complex for Mariupol residents, where over 220 families currently reside.
The hub will be staffed by doctors from Mariupol, who will provide services to both internally displaced persons and residents of Dnipro. The medical centre brings together 20 specialists, including primary care doctors and medical specialists in various fields. It offers both primary and specialist care, as well as laboratory testing and diagnostic services. In addition, the hub features a daycare facility for patients who require supervised treatment.
“We have made every effort to improve things. I believe this hub will be more than just a place where people can receive quality medical care; it will also be a centre of comfort, warmth, and compassion,” said Liudmyla Lashko, head of the Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
