Over 1,350 families of missing persons have received cash assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross

As part of a targeted programme, 1,365 families of missing civilians and military personnel who applied to the Ukrainian Red Cross Tracing Service have received financial assistance of UAH 21,000 each. This programme aims to help families survive the winter and cover the costs of searching for their loved ones.

This initiative was made possible by the financial support of the British Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Thanks to our financial partners, NovaPay and Unex Bank, the families received the financial assistance on time.

As a result of the full-scale war, thousands of Ukrainians remain missing. This uncertainty presents a daily challenge for their families, who continue to hold onto hope while facing financial hardship caused by the loss of a primary earner or the ongoing search for their loved ones.

The Ukrainian Red Cross stands by these families and continues to do everything possible to provide them with the necessary support.
