Over 29,200 consultations were provided by the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units in the Lviv region last year

During this period, 7 mobile health units of the Ukrainian Red Cross:

• made 1,767 visits to remote communities in the Lviv region;
• visited 483 locations;
• provided primary healthcare to residents of 21 territorial communities;
• delivered 29,209 medical consultations;
• referred 3,491 patients to specialist doctors.

In addition to general health check-ups, people had the opportunity to have their blood pressure and sugar levels measured and to receive over-the-counter medicines. The activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units in the region are supported by the Finnish Red Cross as part of the FinHealth+ project, which is implemented in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross.
