In Ternopil, participants of the Ukrainian Red Cross “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme met with the HR manager of the manufacturing company “Delta Trading House”

During the meeting on “Internal Barriers to Employment”, Iryna Havriuk, HR Manager of the “Delta Trading House”, shared with the participants what qualities and skills are most beneficial for securing employment, what the key to a successful interview is, the main challenges people face when looking for a job, how to overcome interview anxiety, and how to identify their own strengths. In addition, the participants discussed the obstacles that prevent candidates from reaching their full potential.

An important objective of the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme, implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Spanish Red Cross, is to strengthen cooperation with employers and train specialists who meet their core requirements. We aim to cover various aspects when preparing participants for employment. Meetings focused on boosting self-esteem, confidence, communication skills, self-control, and resilience in the face of failure are crucial to this process.
