In November, Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units visited 18 villages in the Zhytomyr region

During these visits, 351 people received consultations, 7 home visits were made to individuals unable to move independently, and 269 people were provided with over-the-counter medicines. In addition to consultations and initial examinations, individuals can receive primary medical care on-site if needed or be referred to specialised medical professionals. If a person’s condition is critical, they are transported to a medical facility.

It is important to note that the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units do not provide a regular medical service. Our mission is to temporarily support state institutions and assist people with limited or no access to medical services at their place of residence, including those affected by the war in Ukraine.
