Video: The National Volunteer Assembly 2024
The National Volunteer Assembly 2024 is a gathering of volunteers from all regions of Ukraine to share experiences, learn, and support the volunteer movement.
This year, the Assembly took place in Vinnytsia, with more than 80 volunteers from Ukrainian Red Cross branches across the country taking part. The main objectives of the meeting were to strengthen volunteer teamwork, generate new ideas, make new connections, gain fresh knowledge, and reinforce or sustain the motivation to continue helping those who need it most. The Assembly also elected a new board for the National Volunteer Commission, a body composed of volunteers that influences decision-making on the development of the volunteer movement at the national level.
“Volunteering changes the world. Each of us has a calling to volunteer; we just need to find it and nurture it,” shared the volunteer leader of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Volunteers are the driving force behind the Ukrainian Red Cross, focused on development, change, and innovation. We thank every volunteer for their commitment to helping those who need it most.
We stand by those in need!
