Year’s Results: Over 44,000 psychosocial support (PSS) activities were conducted throughout the year, covering 23 regions and the city of Kyiv. These activities included a wide range of initiatives for children, adults, families, and the elderly.
Basic Community-Based PSS Activities:
- More than 44,000 activities, including creative, physical, and/or sporting activities, as well as other sessions for psycho-emotional recovery and support.
Mobile PSS Activities:
- Nearly 700 activities, including psychosocial support services at evacuation train meeting points, during emergency situations, and at humanitarian aid distribution sites, with the use of a specially equipped PSS vehicle.
These activities have been carried out by volunteers and staff from the Ukrainian Red Cross Mental Health and Psychosocial Support team. Psychosocial support has become essential during times of war, helping people restore their inner balance, reduce stress, and adapt to new realities.
