Strengthening electricity independence of social care facilities: the Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered 29 generators to the Vinnytsia region
In the event of prolonged power outages, the generators will ensure the autonomous operation of the social services departments of the district military administrations and the Department of Social and Youth Policy of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration. Each diesel generator has a capacity of 7 kW, is cost-effective to maintain, and is easy to use. A total of 29 such generators have been delivered.
“Various payments and benefits for our low-income, retired, and disabled citizens are processed through these institutions. Therefore, it is crucial that these bodies continue to operate smoothly despite the destruction of infrastructure. Today, we would like to thank the Ukrainian Red Cross once again for its ongoing support. We are confident that, no matter what happens to the energy infrastructure, there will be no disruption to the social protection system regarding payments and assistance for our population,” said Natalia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.
