Mine risk and actions in case of detection: an event on mine risk for young children was held in Odesa
Children are naturally curious about new and unfamiliar things. However, when it comes to interacting with explosive devices, this curiosity can pose a direct threat to their lives. This is why Ukrainian Red Cross instructors regularly conduct mine risk education sessions for children. They teach them what explosive devices look like, what to do if they find a mine, who to call or ask for help, and what they should never do.
For example, in Odesa, instructors from the Kyiv district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross held an informational session for children at Kindergarten No. 267. The session was conducted in an interactive and playful way, making it easier for children to absorb the information.
