The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross has received an award from the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme “How Are You?”

This certificate recognises the team’s genuine commitment to the implementation of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme “How Are You?”, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska, and acknowledges the Ukrainian Red Cross as one of its key partners.

The award was presented during the ‘Human Resilience ↔️ System Resilience’ Forum. This three-day event brought together relevant organisations to share experiences and develop further solutions for building a mental health system and services in Ukraine amid the ongoing war and recovery.

Anna Didenko, Head of the Rehabilitation and Support Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, also participated in one of the panel discussions at the Forum. Topics included the organisation of mental health centres and the national discussion on the Draft Law on Mental Health.

Additionally, the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross took part in a regional marketplace that brought together over 100 organisations and international partners in the field of mental health and psychosocial support.

The ‘Human Resilience ↔️ System Resilience’ Forum is an important step in building the mental health care ecosystem in Ukraine, which inspires further cooperation and implementation of changes for the well-being of everyone!
The Forum is organised by the World Health Organization, which provides expert support to the “How are you?” programme, and the Coordination Centre for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which provides support and implementation.
