In the Khmelnytskyi region, another social rehabilitation camp for veterans and their families was held
As part of the social adaptation programme implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, a social rehabilitation camp for veterans and their families was organised in the village of Holovchyntsi, Khmelnytskyi region.
During the seven-day event, participants had the opportunity to receive support from psychologists, social workers, and volunteers to improve their physical and emotional well-being, as well as access mental health and psychosocial support.
The programme included, in particular:
- group and individual consultations with specialists;
- psychosocial support activities aimed at strengthening family ties;
- physical exercises and group recreation.
This project is part of the Ukrainian Red Cross initiative to develop the State Standard for Social Adaptation Services for Veterans and Their Families across Ukraine. Its goal is to create comfortable conditions for veterans’ families as they transition back to civilian life.
The event was also organised in cooperation with the Khmelnytskyi Regional Centre for Social Services.
We continue to support veterans and their families by providing the necessary assistance, resources, and emotional support to help them adapt to new circumstances and find the strength to overcome the challenges of everyday life!
