The Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance in Mykolaiv and Rivne after yesterday’s massive attack
As a result of yesterday morning’s massive attack, several regions came under fire. The Ukrainian Red Cross team provided essential assistance on the ground.
- Mykolaiv
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, two women were killed and six others injured, including two children. At the scene, the Mykolaiv regional emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked alongside first responders, medics, and police officers to provide aid.
- Rivne
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the strike damaged two residential buildings, but fortunately, there were no casualties. A fire, which broke out due to the attack on one of the infrastructure facilities, was extinguished by firefighters. The Rivne regional emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross was on-site, where volunteers provided hot meals to residents of the damaged buildings and emergency workers—more than 900 portions of broth were distributed. Volunteers also administered first aid to two victims and transported two others to their relatives.
