In the Sumy region, 722 people received medical consultations over a week

Over a week, six mobile health units from the Ukrainian Red Cross regional branch visited 33 villages, providing medical consultations to 722 individuals. These units delivered services in the communities of Krolevets, Trostianets, Hlukhiv, Nedryhailiv, Vilshany, Korovyntsi, Putyvl, and Krasnopillia.

The units’ specialists examine patients, measure blood pressure, and assess blood glucose and oxygenation levels. The doctor provides primary medical care on-site or refers patients for specialised consultations if necessary. In cases of life-threatening conditions, the team transports individuals to a medical facility.

The Mobile Health Units programme is being implemented in the Sumy region with the support of the Swedish Red Cross.
