Kyiv: Emergency Response Team at the Site of the Attack
Yesterday evening, 25 October, Russian troops attacked Kyiv once again. As a result of the drone strike, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, one person was killed and apartments on the 17th to 21st floors were damaged. Fires broke out but were later extinguished by firefighters.
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team quickly arrived at the scene. They set up an aid station where victims and their relatives could receive first aid and psychological first aid, as well as charge their mobile phones. The volunteers provided hot drinks and snacks to the residents of the damaged building and to emergency workers until the end of the rescue operations.
