In Vinnytsia, the Ukrainian Red Cross of implemented a project within the framework of the BraVo program – “Care and concern – warmth in the family!” to help families from family-type homes
The goal of the project is to support families who evacuated from Donetsk, Luhansk and Mykolaiv regions to Vinnytsia, fleeing the war. According to the project, five family-type houses, each with a family of forty-three people, received household appliances from the Ukrainian Red Cross to improve the daily life of each family. Pressure cookers, microwave ovens, electric kettles and frying pans enable housewives to prepare delicious meals for all family members.
In addition, in the future, the project envisages the involvement of families, including children, in measures for psychosocial support. Meanwhile, children were given school bags and stationery to prepare for the start of the new school year. This assistance was prepared by the psychosocial support department of the Vinnytsia regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
