In Sumska oblast, Ukrainian Red Cross actively supports specialized facilities that house people with psychoneurological disorders and the elderly

In recent weeks, volunteers of Sumska regional organization of Ukrainian Red Cross, including the Emergency response team, delivered about 20 tons of humanitarian aid to specialized institutions in the settlements of the region: Svesa, Budyshcha, Atynske, Synivka, Khmeliv, Okhtyrka, Lebedyn, etc.

About 150 people stay in each such facility. Taking into account the needs of the people, volunteers delivered the most necessary things: meal kits, personal and general hygiene items, bed linen, towels, medicines, cleaning products, etc. Part of the food aid came with the support of the World Food Program.
