In Mykolaiv, volunteers of the Emergency response team are engaged in the evacuation of the population

Mykolaiv is one of the cities of the country that is under fire almost every day. People evacuate to safer areas or even leave the city from dangerous areas where residential buildings are most often destroyed. But there are those who cannot leave on their own due to their health.

In such cases, the Emergency response team of the Mykolayiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross helps to evacuate citizens with reduced mobility, people with disabilities and lonely pensioners in specially equipped cars.

In addition to this type of evacuation, volunteers also use these cars to help vulnerable segments of the population who have undergone a course of inpatient treatment to get home from a medical facility.
