Applications Open for the Second Cohort of the REDpreneur Women Programme
Applications for the second cohort of the REDpreneur Women Programme will open on 12 January 2026. REDpreneur Women is an initiative that supports women from Ukraine in developing innovative and socially oriented businesses through entrepreneurship training, education, and mentoring support.
The programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with the support of the Austrian foundation NACHBAR IN NOT and the Austrian Development Agency. The training and mentoring components are delivered in cooperation with the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator.
REDpreneur Women helps aspiring entrepreneurs gain knowledge, practical skills, mentoring support, and funding to launch or rebuild their own businesses. The programme places a strong emphasis on ideas with social, environmental, or innovative impact, as well as on supporting participants who wish to contribute to Ukraine’s recovery through entrepreneurship.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to Ukrainian women aged 18 and over who:
- reside in territories controlled by the Government of Ukraine;
- have an innovative business idea in a sustainable sector with a social and environmental component;
- do not currently run a business or are seeking to restart their own business;
- have a stable internet connection to participate in online training.
Having a recognised vulnerability status will be considered an additional advantage, provided other selection criteria are met.
How does the programme work?
- 25 participants will be selected to take part in an intensive training programme delivered by the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator;
- 17 finalists will receive further support to implement their business ideas, as well as EUR 7,000 in funding to help bring their projects to life. These business ideas are expected to support local communities, create jobs, and develop financially sustainable business models capable of attracting investment and ensuring long-term stability.
The programme also includes inspirational sessions and networking opportunities, enabling participants to connect with like-minded peers and potential partners.
This is an opportunity not only to learn about entrepreneurship, but also to become part of a community that is contributing to positive change in Ukraine.
