REBOOT: EXPANDING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Today, due to the war in Ukraine, the population is facing numerous challenges, including forced displacement, changes in employment, a lack of permanent jobs, and, unfortunately, unemployment. To support vulnerable individuals who are ready to adapt to new conditions despite these difficulties, the Ukrainian Red Cross has been implementing the programme “REBOOT: Expanding Employment Opportunities” since 2024.
The goal is to help people acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their professional prospects and make it easier for them to find employment in the future. These services include personalised career guidance, training in specific skills demanded by the market, and psychosocial support. Additionally, the programme connects participants with companies for potential job and internship opportunities and provides support for micro-entrepreneurship initiatives.

Beneficiaries can access the physical REBOOT Service Point in Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Ternopil, and Vinnytsia regions to seek support in the following areas:

People living in different regions of Ukraine and remote areas where a physical REBOOT point is not yet open can access the REBOOT service online (contact below).

ℹ️The Spanish Red Cross is the main donor of the “REBOOT: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme across the above-mentioned five regions. Additionally, the programme is supported by the Swiss Red Cross in the Ternopil and Kirovohrad regions and the Danish Red Cross in the Mykolaiv region.

! Please note that a person who wishes to join the programme can either seek support for employment or apply for a microgrant to start a business. A participant cannot engage in both activities simultaneously.
